Special Topics in Innovation; Becoming a Design Thinker: Mindsets and Tools for Innovation

This introductory course allows students to try on the behaviors of a creative problem-solver, leveraging the methods and tools of design thinking, a human-centered innovation process. This is a highly experiential, often experimental course. All majors are encouraged to apply.
Special Topics in Innovation; Explorations in Design

Explorations in Design will allow students to apply their unique backgrounds to the realm of design. Students will learn through hands-on experiences with real clients from various industries. We will explore how good and bad design plays a role in our everyday lives -- from the way we order coffee to the logos you see to the signs that help you navigate (or get lost on) the metro.
Special Topics in Innovation; Digital Product Design

This course will introduce Students to user-centric design processes for websites and apps. Students will get to apply their startups and use their design skills to build a digital product of their own. This class is for all kinds of creatives.
