A professional writing course exploring the life and works of JRR Tolkien, professor and author of The Lord of the Rings. Virtual visits with scholars and experts in Oxford, England, where Tolkien spent much of his life, offer a unique opportunity to learn about the writer's world and the unique intersections between his scholarship and his fantasy.
This is a Global Classrooms course, developed in partnership with the Office of International Affairs (OIA) to provide virtual opportunities for global engagement. Global Classrooms can range from embedded experiences to immersive, project-based collaboration.
