National political conventions happen every four years, and some reporters wait years hoping to get a shot to cover one. This course will provide you with one week of preparatory work gathering delegate information and conducting other pre-convention reporting for one of the two major parties and turning it into prose, graphics, video, social media, etc., then almost a week of on-the-ground reporting at one of the two conventions.
