Provides a structured, step-by-step approach to developing a path to being undergraduate research experiences. From identifying research interests to confidently contacting faculty members, this course equips students with essential skills for engaging in research and building transferable skills in professionalism and communication. During the course, students will be immersed in an online community of peers seeking research opportunities while receiving direct support and peer mentorship from experienced undergraduate researchers.

Peer Mentorship - Supporting Students in Course-Based Research

Students will explore and apply the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning theories as peer leaders within a partner course-based research or experiential learning course. Using critical reflection techniques, students will practice, discuss, and reflect on educational theories.
