Basic chemistry for engineering students. Introduction to organic structures and polymers, gas laws, liquids, solids, phase changes, chemical kinetics and electrochemistry.

Workshops will cover all aspects of giving scientific presentations. Each student will give a presentation based oon the topic of his/her final paper in CHEM611. Presentations will be critiqued by peers and faculty members.
