Basic piano techniques; chord, arpeggio and scale techniques; melody and song playing; simple accompaniments, improvisation for accompaniments and rhythms; sight reading and transposition and playing by ear.

Introductory theory course. Notation, scales, intervals, triads, rhythm, form and basic aural skills.
