Designed for MA and PhD students who are current or future researchers interested in IDs in second language acquisition (SLA). In addition to exploring relevant theoretical frameworks and approaches to studying major IDs both classic (e.g., L2 aptitude, anxiety, motivation) and morerecent (e.g., L2 grit, mobile technology acceptance and engagement),we will also dedicate time and attention to the methods and measurement of this domain. However, the focus of this seminar will be primarily substantive rather than methodological.
