Topical Investigations; Applications of community sports-based youth development

Class will meet from 11am-1pm on 7 SUNDAYS 2/11, 2/25, 3/10, 3/24, 4/14, 4/28, 5/12

In this hands-on team-based course, students will volunteer with a local community partner that promotes sports-based positive youth development (SBPYD). These community partners support populations that are traditionally underserved or marginalized and integrate strategies into the sport context to promote positive social outcomes. This course may have non standard meeting times and could require traveling off campus. For additional information and permission to enroll, please contact the Kinesiology department.
