PRE-REQUISITES: LING 311 Investigation of the acquisition of the morphosyntax of languages that are not extensively documented, with a particular focus on Tashlhiyt Berber. Methodologies reviewed include the construction of a corpus of child-directed speech and the design of behavioral studies to model the children's hypothesis space and developmental timeline. Knowledge from LING444 will be helpful but is not required.
