Students will interrogate alternatives to market-centric perspectives to gain an appreciation of, and contribute to, the rich history of economic thinking to support equitable and sustainable cities. They will analyze ongoing projects in the DMV and make proposals for their improvement. This course incorporates real-world precedents from across the globe, which demonstrate the potential for progressive economics in practice.
