Selected Topics in Mathematics; Experimental Mathematics

Prerequisites: 240, 246 (or equivalent linear algebra) and one 400-level course.

This course aims to introduce students to mathematical research through experimental tools. It is a project-based course primarily for math majors. Every day attendance will be expected. Students should expect to spend at least 10 hours per week on their project. Students who plan to simultaneously work on other research projects on campus while taking this course are discouraged from enrolling in this course. Email instructor with questions about the course.
