Restriction: Must have earned a minimum of 60 credits.
An advanced composition course which emphasizes constructing written arguments accommodated to real audiences.
A professional writing course exploring the life and works of JRR Tolkien, professor and author of The Lord of the Rings. Virtual visits with scholars and experts in Oxford, England, where Tolkien spent much of his life, offer a unique opportunity to learn about the writer's world and the unique intersections between his scholarship and his fantasy.
