This 1-credit course is aimed at third and fourth-year undergraduates with a strong background in physics and will provide a brief introduction to the topic of general relativity. The material will coverthe equivalence principle, general covariance, the space-time metric, coordinate transformations, the Einstein equation, and the Schwarzschild solution. As the course is only an introduction and aims to be generally accessible, it will focus mainly on the overall structure of the theory rather than the details of the underlying mathematical framework it is built upon.
