Students will engage in a service-learning experience where they are partnered with a community organization that promotes physical activity in populations that are traditionally underserved or marginalized. This hands-on course allows students to gain experience working in a community setting and applying strategies learned from their Kinesiology and Public Health coursework to promote positive social outcomes. This course may have nonstandard meeting times and could require traveling off campus. For additional information and permission to enroll, please contact the Kinesiology department.
