Demonstrated ability to think critically and challenge assumptions are vital skills for leaders across multiple domains. In this course students will expand their opportunities in the modern workplace by learning the fundamentals of business research, as well as learn about career-related opportunities business research skills can facilitate in both industry and academia. This course will provide students the opportunity to work closely with a faculty mentor, and gain the skills necessary to improve their responsible conduct of research as well as reflect on their growth as blossoming researchers and critical thinkers. In addition, this course will serve as a critical stepping stone towards conducting an honors thesis, for those students who wish to pursue additional research beyond this course.
