According to the Congressional Research Service, "Technological progress is potentially the most important and hardest to measure source of productivity growth." The technology sector makes up almost 10% of the US GDP and is the largest sector in the S&P 500. It is believed that since the mid-1970s, technology has impacted businesses and consumers at a rate of change that is believed to be increasing exponentially. Many businesses and consumers are not able to fully leverage the potential of technology, and some businesses fail because they cannot match the value their competitors can extract from technology. In this course, we focus on the practices necessary for successfully deploying technology, especially emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain, to serve the business. The purpose of this course is to enable you to master the use of technology such as AI chatbots and agents for individual productivity as well as acquire the managerial skills to enable businesses to harness the value of technology.
Restricted to General Business Minors (#BU02)
