Must be in the Graduate Program in Computer Science. All other graduate students must request permission.

The course is a seminar structured around selected papers and a course project on advanced cryptographic systems. This will cover systems for privacy-preserving analytics, private information retrieval, encrypted messaging and moderation, privacy-preserving payments, and identity systems and anonymous credentials. This course is intended for computer science graduate students and advanced undergraduates with an interest in the area. Undergraduates should have taken a previous security or cryptography class.
