Credits: 3
Grad Meth: Reg, P-F, Aud
The climate crisis is the most profound threat to human life our species has ever encountered. How have the languages of global warming and climate change influenced our understanding of this existential crisis, and how have climate activists strategically leveraged rhetorical strategies to educate, advocate, and mobilize audiences to meet this challenge? This course explores the rhetoric of climate activism movements, along with the rhetoric of climate skepticism, from the 1960s to the present.
