Designed to mirror professional rehearsal and performance processes, the course focuses on the physical and artistic demands of touring professional dance work.

This semester centers on Turn, Turning, Turnt by acclaimed choreographer Cynthia Oliver-a triptych of three dynamic works that challenge dancers cardiovascularly, musically, and performatively. Under the direction of faculty member Kendra Portier, who also performs in the work, students will engage in repertory rehearsals, receive targeted physical training, and learn choreography for all three pieces. The course emphasizes the stamina, precision, and artistry required for professional dance practice in preparation for premiere and touring performances.
