This course will provide students with a practical foundation in applied space navigation. The focus is on computational techniques and the astrodynamics, statistics, and estimation that underlies them. Near-space trajectories are those within 1.5 million km of the earth, a region that includes the sun-earth colinear Lagrange points (L1 and L2).
