Studies the history of Queen Elizabeth I of England and Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots, as well as the propaganda strategies developed during their reigns to shape their public images. We will also examine the literary and artistic representations that, after their deaths, transfigured their histories into dozens of portraits, poems, dramas, operas, novels, and films.
