Restriction: Must be in the Information Science program or Technology and Information Design program. Introduces undergraduate students in Information Science to the world of research. Students will learn how to identify and formulate research questions, review and critique scientific literature, design and conduct experiments, analyze data, and effectively communicate research findings. The course emphasizes ethical considerations, the responsible use of AI and information tools in research, and the development of key competencies needed for engaging in research opportunities. This course is not recommended for students in their final semester.
