Special Topics in Information Studies; Using Network Visualization to Explore Library and Archive Collections
Credits: 3
Grad Meth: Reg, Aud
Graphs are helpful tools for showing and understanding connections between people, places, and events in library and archival materials. In this course, you'll learn how to identify important entities (like individuals or organizations), create visual "maps" of relationships, analyze these connections, and produce visual representations of complex data. These techniques allow you to uncover hidden relationships within collections, making it easier to interpret and discover new insights from archival and library materials.
