The first of two sequential courses required for achieving competence in teaching a world language. Explores Dual Language/World Language Methods and Second Language/Bilingual development. Implications for teaching and initial lesson design are explored through on-campus seminars as well as guided field experiences. Students should reserve a regular half-day per week for the field experience in local schools.
