Prerequisite: BMGT220 and BMGT230.
Students are introduced to the subject of finance with the focus on the financial management of a business. By the end of the course, students can do the following: apply time value of money and accounting principles to value investment securities (stocks and bonds), projects, and entire companies; describe and quantify the relationship between expected return and risk; and estimate a company's cost of capital. Students also will be able to apply these concepts to make better decisions about their personal finances.
Restricted to BMGT majors with 53 credit hours completed. Interested students who don't meet restrictions should review their eligiblity for BMGT340N.

Meets in a blended format. Approximately half of the scheduled face-to-face course meetings will be replaced by asynchronous online activities, including video lectures, quizzes, and graded assignments.
