According to the Congressional Research Service, "Technological progress is potentially the most important and hardest to measure source of productivity growth." The technology sector makes up almost 10% of the US GDP and is the largest sector in the S&P 500. Since the mid-1970s, technology has impacted businesses and consumers at a rate of change that is increasing exponentially. Many businesses and consumers cannot fully leverage the potential of technology, and some businesses fail because they cannot match the value their competitors can extract from technology. In this course, we focus on the practices necessary for successfully deploying technology, especially emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain, to serve the business. This course enables you to master the use of technology such as AI chatbots and agents for individual productivity as well as acquire the managerial skills to harness the value of technology.
Restricted to General Business Minors (#BU02)
