This course is designed for a small, focused group pursuing degrees in international development with a specialization in education. It critically examines the history of U.S. foreign aid in international development, explores the drastic policy shifts following the 2024 presidential election, and analyzes the future trajectory of U.S. aid in global education and development efforts. This course offers a unique opportunity for students to engage in in-depth policy analysis, apply theoretical knowledge to contemporary issues, and contribute to academic discourse on the future of U.S. international development assistance.
Course will meet synchronously on Fridays 2 - 4 pm: Feb 13th and 27th; March 13th; April 17th.
