Introduction to Networks and Protocols

Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C- in ENEB341; and permission from the Cyber-Physical Systems Engineering program.
Restriction: Must be in the Cyber-Physical Systems Engineering program.
This course focuses on networking and wireless communication foundations that enable modern Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS). Students will review computer networking fundamentals (protocol stacks, protocols, packet analysis) and study wireless systems (Wi-Fi, cellular, 5G, LPWAN), wireless channel behavior, and practical measurement techniques.
