Introduction to the field of occupational safety and health (OSH) and the broad need to examine the work environment in global public health practice. Learn how we diagnose and address traditional workplace health concerns, as well as emerging hazards like extreme heat, poor indoor air quality, and the mental health challenges of today's workplace. Case studies, guest speakers, and interviews allow students to integrate socioeconomic, global, environmental, and occupational safety and health (OSH) concepts across global and local work environments and industries.
