This course examines the role of leadership in shaping government, policy, and civic life, asking students to consider how leaders influence institutions, communities, and change. Students will engage with leadership models, public sector case studies, self-reflection, and collaborative projects to develop the skills needed to lead with integrity in complex governmental systems. Emphasis is placed on understanding the intersection of leadership, ethics, and public responsibility, with the goal of preparing students to navigate the challenges of serving the common good.
This course will be co-taught by U.S. Senator Angela Alsobrooks.
