We will discuss topics like foreign policy realism vs. idealism, realpolitik, and whether international law is fake. We will also consider foundational issues like Hume's Law and non-ideal theory in political philosophy. Authors will include Thucydides, Kant, Beitz, Walzer, Hart, Dworkin, and contemporary literature.
