This graduate-level course integrates principles of bioengineering, cancer biology, and translational medicine to design next-generation technologies for cancer prevention, diagnosis, and therapy. Topics include biomaterials and nanotechnology, molecular and cellular engineering, imaging and theranostics, tumor mechanobiology, systems andcomputational modeling, and AI-driven design. Emphasis is placed on innovation at the interface of engineering and oncology to enable precision medicine and the development of the cancer engineering workforce. Explores the convergence of bioengineering and oncology to design and translate innovative technologies for cancer prevention, diagnosis, and therapy.
