Offered with NACS728Z. Credit granted only for BIOE689N or NACS728Z.
This course explores the emerging interdisciplinary field of network neuroscience, integrating principles from neuroscience, systems engineering, data science, and neural engineering. Students will delve into mathematical models of network connectivity both classical and modern and apply these models to functional neuroimaging data. The course includes hands-on analysis of EEG, LFP, and fMRI data from public databases, emphasizing practical data handling, analytical skills, and collaborative research through interdisciplinary team projects.
