Advanced Topics in Civil Engineering; Discrete Choice Analysis
Credits: 3
Grad Meth: Reg, Aud, S-F
This course introduces the theory and practice of discrete choice analysis, with a particular emphasis on applications in transportation and related fields. The course covers econometric approaches to modeling individual choice behavior, including the formulation, estimation, interpretation, and application of discrete choice models. Students willllearn the theoretical foundations of random utility models and gain hands-on experience applying these methods to real-world datasets.
