This course examines how artificial intelligence can be designed, evaluated, and governed to improve population health while ensuring fairness, accountability, and responsible use across the global setting. Using real world case studies and a structured framework "AI-Y: An AI checklist for Population Health in the Global Context", students will assess risks such as bias, inequity, and governance, and develop practical strategies for responsible, policy relevant AI use.
