The Kinesiological and Scientific Basis of Human Movement and Sport: Golf

Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C- in KNES350; and minimum grade of C- in KNES370.
Restriction: Must be in a major within the SPHL-Kinesiology department; and must have earned a minimum of 90 credits.

The course introduces the student to the study of human movement (i.e., kinesiology) and sport through the experience of learning a specific motor skill (i.e., golf). Emphasis in the course is on the theories and knowledges underlying the learning and performance of all motor and sport skills. In short, this is a course about the science of motor behavior and skills. Through active and personal learning experiences, students will be encouraged to develop critical and creative thinking skills about human motor behavior.
Students must pay a $40 instructional materials fee.
