The course introduces the student to the study of human movement (i.e., kinesiology) and sport through the experience of learning a specific motor skill (i.e., golf). Emphasis in the course is on the theories and knowledges underlying the learning and performance of all motor and sport skills. In short, this is a course about the science of motor behavior and skills. Through active and personal learning experiences, students will be encouraged to develop critical and creative thinking skills about human motor behavior.
