In this Global Learning classroom, students will serve as Health Equity Consultants, partnering with Community Psychology undergraduates at Universidad Centroamericana Jose Simeon Canas (UCA) in El Salvador to examine the structural determinants of health disparities in the Global South. Drawing on frameworks from Public Health and Liberation Psychology, students analyze community needs assessment data collected by their Salvadoran peers and collaboratively produce an evidence-based CommunityAsset Map and intervention proposal tailored to locally identified priorities.
