Explores how digital technologies mediate the teaching, learning, and social life of Spanish in the 21st century. It integrates applied linguistics, sociolinguistics, and critical CALL perspectives to examinethe pedagogical, ideological, and ethical implications of emerging technologies from online platforms and AI to social media and corpora. Students will engage in analysis, design, and reflection to develop data-informedand socially responsible approaches to technology in Spanish language education.
