Prerequisites: BIOE437, BIOE457 Restriction: Permission of the Fischell Department of Bioengineering.

This course will provide engineering students with the opportunity to leverage their technical skills to contribute to a multidisciplinary teaclinical challenge. Students will receive an introduction to the innovatcentered design, and design thinking, then work with physicians and mediidentify a clinical challenge and brainstorm solutions and lead design and prototyping efforts using CAD models, basic electronics, and prototyp

Students must be able to provide their own transportation to University of Maryland Baltimore for in-person sessions during the class time on 1/25, 2/1, 2/22, 3/22, 4/5, and 5/3.
