Prerequisites: Minimum grade of C- in CMSc132 and MATH141

Introduces research and the research process and provides necessary skills to be effective in future mentored research projects. Students participate in classroom-based professional development activities, and practice research skills through a semester-long team-based research project. The course also provides an opportunity for self-reflection related to motivation for academic research.
