Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C- in CMSC421 or CMSC422; and/or permission of CMNS-Computer Science department; or must be in the Computer Science graduate program.
Jointly offered with: CMSC676.
Credit only granted for: CMSC476 or CMSC676.
Additional information: If students complete both CMSC473 and CMSC476, only one course will count towards the CS major.
Semester-long project course in which each student will identify and carry out a project related to the broad area of Artificial Intelligence, with the goal of working on a research project/paper or a software tool that may benefit the society.
