This interdisciplinary, studio-based course takes place in a historic, working letterpress studio that will 'pop-up' in the lobby of Knight Hall as part of the instructor s artist residency with Arts for All. Thecourse explores relationships among information, print culture and public expression. Students work with historic presses and printing materials to develop skills in design, visual storytelling and collaborative production. Through experimentation and audience-centered messaging, they investigate how the form and circulation of printed information shape meaning, influence audiences, and contribute to publicdialogue. No prior printing experience is required.
