Students will examine and critically analyze the current research literature relevant to the diagnosis, prevalence, and impact of the current diabetes epidemic in the US. Students will also study the current state of knowledge relative to the use of physical activity to prevent and treat diabetes. This seminar format class is heavily based on student presentations, student participation, and student writing assignments.
