Explores the transformation of Russian politics and society over the past three decades, focusing on the evolution of the political regime, the erosion of political freedoms, and the changing relationship between the state and society. Examines how the war has reshaped Russia's political system, civil society, and relations with the outside world. Taught in English and Russian, with opportunities to engage with Russian-language materials and discussion.
