Data Science and the AI Transition

Prerequisite: 6 credits in SOCY courses; or permission of the Sociology Department.
How is the AI transition impacting employment, energy markets and American politics? In this course, you will use AI to learn basic data science skills and then deploy these skills to explore the effects of AI adoption on employment, energy prices and usage, and social and political opposition to data centers.
